Michael A. Gigliotti, D.D.S

Dr. Michael Gigliotti is a graduate of Georgetown University dental school. He took over this practice from the former dentist, Dr. Albert Miller, in 1988 who practiced in this location for more than 30 years. He has made cosmetic and restorative dentistry his focus and has taken several courses in these areas to provide the best esthetic dentistry for his patients. He places implants for his patients and is an Invisalign provider. To that end, he keeps up with the latest techniques in dentistry, and he makes a point of attending several continuing education courses each year. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Concord Implant Study Club.Originally from West Boylston, Massachusetts, Dr. Gigliotti moved to Hudson in 1993, and he is proud to call this town his home. He is married to Patricia, and together they have three sons: Matthew, Nicholas, and David.

Dr. Gigliotti has been very involved in the community. He has been a member of the Hudson Rotary Club and the Hudson Historical Society for over twenty years. He reads to the kindergarten monthly, and goes to all the elementary schools every year to speak about dental health. He ha been coaching baseball in Hudson for ten years. His Family is members of the First United Methodist church of Hudson.

Shirley C. Austin, D.M.D

Dr. Austin graduated with honors with a Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Afterwards, she completed a General Practice Residency at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Through this program, Dr. Austin gained valuable experience working with medically compromised patients, as well as learning advanced techniques in various aspects of dentistry. She also gained experienced treating physically and mentally handicapped patients in a clinical setting and in the operating room under general anesthesia. Dr. Austin is emphatic about putting her patients' best interests first, and is committed to making their dental experience a positive one.

When Dr. Austin is away from the office, she enjoys traveling, watching football and spending time with friends and family. As an avid foodie, she also enjoys cooking and sampling different foods.

Office Manager

LuAnn Fails has been with this practice since 1974, starting as a certified dental assistant and has been managing the practice for the past twenty two years. With her vast experience, she will take care of all your questions concerning dental payments, insurance and any financial arrangements. We are very appreciative of all the hard work she does. LuAnn enjoys reading, gardening, swimming and most of all spending time with her family.

Receptionist

Kathy Butka has been member of Team Gigliotti for over 10 years. She is a life long resident of Marlboro. Prior to coming to our practice Kathy worked for Data General for over 25 years. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading and watching REALITY TV. She is one of the first people you will talk to when you call or visit our office. She has a knack for organization and enjoys interacting with a variety of people. She is very nurturing towards her patients ,and enjoys the relationship she develops with them. Kathy will submit your insurance claims and can answer your questions concerning scheduling, office hours and help you with any forms you may need to fill out for your appointment. Kathy recently enjoyed Brooks and Dunn's Last Rodeo Tour as a 10 year anniversary gift from Dr. Gigliotti.

Dental Assistants

Our dental assistants are friendly, caring and concerned about you. They make sure you are comfortable in the dental chair, prepare you for treatment, obtain your dental records and assist the doctors during treatment.

Nikki Ware has been a dental assistant here at Hudson Family Dental for over the last six years. I have been residing in Hudson, MA with my spouse and four children since 1997. I enjoy the challenges of being a dental assistant and enjoy the satisfaction of treating our patients and providing great service. I'm an avid Patriots Fan, love fantasy football and take great pride in my family. I look forward to making your experience at our dental office a Pleasant One!

Dental Hygienists

Kathleen Rembetsy has been with the practice for over twenty years. She is a 1986 graduate of Westbrook College of Portland, ME. She is passionate about her job and credits her longevity with Hudson Family Dental to the wonderful patients she treats. Kathy is the mom to two wonderful sons. She resides in Leominister, MA with her son Mark. In her spare time Kathy enjoys reading, crafts and long walks especially on the beach.
